Hartmut Grund

Hartmut Joachim Gustav Grund (born November 1, 1917 in Hamburg ; † January 28, 2004 in Munich ) was a German screenwriter and film producer .

Life

Hartmut Grund mostly worked for German television. Shortly after founding the North German Radio , he wrote scripts for NDR television . After the publication of the novel Six Games in 1955, Grund moved from Hamburg to Berlin , where he mainly worked as a dramaturge at UFA Studio- und Montage GmbH . In 1962 he then moved to Munich . Later he went to the Hessischer Rundfunk and became head of the television play department . There he built the ARD film editorial team together with Heinz Ungureit and Franz Everschor . Then he went back to Munich to join Bavaria Film and headed the series department there for almost 20 years. With good reason, he created a number of series to which he contributed as a screenwriter or dramaturge. In the 1980s he took over the development for the WDR - Tatort with Inspector Schimanski, played by Götz George . Long after his retirement he continued to work as a dramaturge, screenwriter and producer for Tatort until he had to quit due to illness.
