Good from Haeska

A farm was probably built in Haeska as early as the 13th century. The estate was first mentioned in a document in 1560. Until 1563 it belongs to the cathedral church of Haapsalu. Later, the noble Baltic German families Kursell and Wrangell were among the owners. The last private owner before the expropriation in the course of the Estonian land reform in 1919 was Hans von Grünewaldt .

The manor house built in 1805 is located to the west of today's village center. The restrained, one and a half-story stone building was built in the style of early classicism . It was extensively renovated in 1981 and served as the Matsalu National Park hostel. It has been a privately owned hotel since 2001.

The mansion is surrounded by a small English-style park that extends to the coast.
