Heßbach was a municipality in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

history

On September 13, 1827 the formation of the rural community of Heßbach was approved, to which Oberheßbach and Unterheßbach belonged. The municipality was under the administration and jurisdiction of the district court of Ansbach and the financial administration of the Ansbach Rent Office ( renamed the Ansbach Tax Office in 1920 ). In voluntary jurisdiction, two properties in Oberheßbach were subordinate to the Frohnhof Patrimonial Court from 1822 to 1836 and five properties in Unterheßbach from 1820 to 1848 to the Rügland Patrimonial Court .

From 1862 on, Heßbach was administered by the Ansbach District Office (renamed the Ansbach District in 1938 ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Ansbach until 1870, 1870-1879 city ​​and district court Ansbach , since 1880 district court Ansbach . The municipality had an area of ​​5.104 km². In the course of the regional reform this was incorporated into Lehrberg on January 1, 1972.
