Unterheßbach (colloquially: And ə rheschba ) is a district of the market Lehrberg in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village lies on the Franconian Rezat and on two nameless streams that flow into the Rezat as right tributaries. To the west is the Kellerfeld , about one kilometer west of the Hag forest area . The Fichtenleiten is about one kilometer to the southwest . A community road leads to the B 13 near Oberheßbach (0.6 km north) or to Lehrberg (1.2 km south-east). The Franconian Marienweg runs through the village .

history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1345 as "Nidern Hesspach" with the meaning at the brook of the Hesso . The brook refers to the Rezat on which the settlement was built; the personal name Hesso probably refers to the founder of the settlement.

In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Ansbach from 1684 17 teams were given for Unterheßbach. 1 property was subordinate to the Ansbach Abbey , 10 properties to the Eichstätt monastery , 5 properties to the Rügland manor of the Lords of Crailsheim and 1 property of the chaplain and bailiwick of Lehrberg. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Hofkastenamt Ansbach. The bishopric of Eichstätt held the authority of the village and community .

At the end of the 18th century, Unterheßbach formed a community with Oberheßbach. There were 18 properties in Unterheßbach. The high court continued to exercise the court box office in Ansbach. The village and community rulership was held by the Eichstättische Vogtamt Lehrberg . The landlords were the Hochstift Eichstätt (Vogtamt Lehrberg: 1 yard, Propsteiamt Herrieden : 1 yard, 2 half yards, 1 Schuckhof, 7 estates), the Stiftsamt Ansbach (1 Köblergut , 1 Söldengut ) and the Rittergut Rügland (4 estates, 1 mill). In addition to the households, there were also communal buildings (shepherd's house, breaker's house ). From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Unterheßbach was assigned to the Gräfenbuch tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Graefenbuch, founded in 1811 . On September 13, 1827 the formation of the rural community Heßbach was approved, which consisted of Ober- and Unterheßbach. In the voluntary jurisdiction, five properties were subordinate to the Rügland Patrimonial Court from 1820 to 1848 .

In the course of the regional reform , Heßbach was incorporated into Lehrberg on January 1, 1972.
