The place was in the Fraisch district of the Brandenburg-Ansbach Hofkastenamt Ansbach . The mill was mentioned in the Salbuch of the Principality of Ansbach from 1684. The Hofkastenamt was also the landlord of the mill. Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the property was given the number 3 of Buhlsbach when the house numbers were assigned . From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Buhlsmühle was assigned to the Lehrberg tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Lehrberg, founded in 1811 . In the 19th century to the property numerous parcels arable and meadows, scattered in among district Buhlsbach were.
