Seemühle (colloquially: Sēmíl ) is a district of the market Lehrberg in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Seebach, which is a left tributary of the Franconian Rezat . Approx. The Kümmelberg ( 466  m above sea level ) rises 0.5 km to the east, and the Hirschberg approx. 0.5 km to the north in the Birkenfels forest . A communal road leads past the Ziegelhütte to Lehrberg (1 km south) or past the fulling mill to Ballstadt (1.5 km east).

history

The place was mentioned by name for the first time in 1732 in the descriptions of the Oberamts by Johann Georg Vetter as "Seemühl". The place name is a bracket form to Seebachmühle, so it is named after the stream that flows down from a small pond north of the place.

Towards the end of the 18th century, the Seemühle belonged to Lehrberg. The mill had the manor Rügland of the Lords of Crailsheim as landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792-1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Seemühle was given house number 101 in the village of Lehrberg. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, the Seemühle was assigned to the Lehrberg tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Lehrberg, founded in 1811 . From 1820 to 1848, the property was subject to the Rügland Patrimonial Court in voluntary jurisdiction .
