Health (spelling: HEALTH ) is an American rock band from Los Angeles , founded in 2005 , whose music is often described as experimental. Her music ranges between noise rock , industrial and electronic music .
history
In 2006 Health produced the debut album HEALTH for Lovepump Records, which was followed by a tour in 2007. In 2008 they released the remix album HEALTH // DISCO , which also includes a remix of Crimewave by the Crystal Castles and received mostly good reviews. The second album, Get Color, followed in 2009 . On June 25th, Health released the remix album DISCO2 . It includes a new song by the band called USA BOYS , which is offered as a free download. The band has been on tour with Liars , Crystal Castles , No Age and Fuck Buttons, among others . On March 15, 2012 it was announced by Pitchfork that Health would be responsible for the soundtrack of the video game Max Payne 3 . The soundtrack was released as an album on May 23, 2012. In 2015, Health released the last studio album to date, Death Magic . In the same year guitarist Jupiter Keyes left the band.
In the winter of 2015, Health played live support on the European tour of the New York indie rock band Interpol .
Health contributed songs to the soundtracks for the video games Grand Theft Auto V and Need for Speed . In 2017 they recorded a cover version of New Orders Blue Monday for the film Atomic Blonde .
