It is located in the southern part of the historic Quedlinburg old town. In the Quedlinburg monument register it is registered as a residential and commercial building.
Architecture and history
The house was built in 1904 by the architect Max Schneck for the businessman Oskar Berger . Previously, the former Heiliggeist Hospital and the chapel of this facility were located here. In its design, the house presents itself in the form of Art Nouveau , whereby, at the urging of the city building authority, the regional timber-frame tradition was used. There are also neo-Gothic elements. A street-side bay window and a gable with diamonds are remarkable .
