Heiligenmühle is a wasteland and one of 17 officially named districts of the community of Leinburg in Middle Franconia .

geography

The place is located south of Leinburg and east of the highway A3 near the Strait of Leinburg by Brunn . In the south the Haidelbach , a right tributary of the Röthenbach , flows past the mill. The campsite, which is open all year round, is open to both permanent campers and tourist guests. It is a little isolated next to the mill.

history

As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , Heiligenmühle became part of the independent rural community of Leinburg with the second municipal edict , which also included the wasteland of Fuchsmühle and today's desolations of Obermühle and Rößmühle . Later there was also the desert forester's house , which did not exist at that time. In 1993 Heiligenmühle had eight residents.
