Forsthaus is a district of the community of Leinburg in the district of Nürnberger Land , Middle Franconia . The village is not officially named, but is designated by the municipality as its district.

The desert is located about two kilometers west-southwest of Leinburg and is at an altitude of 356  m above sea level. NHN . Forsthaus forms an exclave of the community of Leinburg and is located in the western part of the community-free area of ​​Leinburg . The closest area of ​​the community (the area around the Fuchsmühle ) is only about 200 meters away from the village, in between there is a waterworks operated by N-ERGIE ( waterworks at the Forsthaus, Forsthaus 2 ).

history

As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , the independent rural community of Leinburg was founded, which also included the wasteland of Fuchsmühle and today's desolations of Obermühle and Rösmühle . The Einöde Forsthaus did not exist at this time, however, but was only assigned to the community of Leinburg after it was built. In 1993, Forsthaus had four residents.
