Heinrich Georg Wilhelm Count Finck von Finckenstein (born November 22, 1894 in Eisersdorf , Glatz district , province of Silesia , † February 19, 1984 in Bielefeld ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and Obergruppenführer (SA) .

After attending a humanistic grammar school in Greifenberg in Pomerania, he took part in the First World War from 1914 to 1918 as a flag squire and later as a platoon leader with the “von Bredow” (1st Silesian) No. 4 dragoon regiment . From 1919 to 1922 he belonged to the Freikorps "Freiwillige Sturmabteilung Schlichtingsheim" and 3rd Marine Brigade von Loewenfeld . He was also a company commander in the Schlageter battalion . During this time he took part in the suppression of the three Polish uprisings in Upper Silesia , in street fighting in Kiel during the Kapp Putsch and in fighting in the Ruhr area . In 1922 he was finally appointed senior lieutenant a. D. adopted.

From 1923 to 1933 Finckenstein earned his living as a farmer. In June 1923 Finckenstein joined the NSDAP, which he rejoined on September 25, 1925 after being temporarily banned from the period from late 1923 to spring 1925 ( membership number 19.599). In 1929 he also became a member of the Sturmabteilung (SA).

After the transfer of power to the National Socialists, Finckenstein was appointed SA Oberführer in April 1934. In August 1936 Finckenstein took over the management of the Silesian SA group in Liegnitz . His official appointment as leader of the group and promotion to the rank of group leader did not take place until May 1937. On June 20, 1939 Finckenstein was transferred to the staff of the Supreme SA leadership in Munich . In the SA Finckenstein was promoted to Obergruppenführer at the end of January 1941 .

In the Reichstag election in 1936 , Finckenstein ran without receiving a seat. From May 1938 until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945 he was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 8 (Liegnitz) . Since 1937 Finckenstein was a member of the Prussian Provincial Council of the Province of Silesia. In March 1942 he was appointed honorary judge at the People's Court. After 1943 he was a major in the Landesschützen Ersatzbataillon 4 in Glauchau .

After the Second World War , Finckenstein lived in Westphalia.
