Heinrich Hagemann (born July 22, 1921 in Hollenbek , Duchy of Lauenburg , † October 1, 2006 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1975 to 1987 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .

Life and work

Heinrich Hagemann graduated from school in 1937 with the upper secondary qualification. He then completed an apprenticeship as a metal aircraft builder, which he completed in 1940 with the skilled worker examination. In 1943 he passed his exams as an aerospace engineer and then worked from 1943 to 1944 as a production engineer at the North German Dornierwerke in Wismar . From 1944 he had to do military service and was taken prisoner of war , from which he was released in 1946. From 1947 to 1967 he worked as an independent concrete goods manufacturer, and from 1949 he was also employed as a post office owner for the Deutsche Bundespost . In 1962, Hagemann took over his father's inn .

He was married and had three children.

Hagemann joined the CDU in 1955. In 1962 he became a member of the regional executive committee of the CDU Local Political Association and between 1968 and 1981 was deputy chairman of the CDU district association.

In 1955, Hagemann was elected community representative and deputy mayor in Hollenbek, and from 1959 to 1976 he was mayor of the community. From 1968 to 1975 he was head of the office of Sterley (Gudow-Sterley). He was a member of the district council of the Duchy of Lauenburg from 1963 to 1982, from 1966 to 1974 he was a member of the district committee and from 1974 to 1982 district president .

In the Schleswig-Holstein state elections in 1975 , 1979 and 1983 he was elected to the Kiel state parliament as a direct candidate for the CDU in constituency 41 (Lauenburg-Ost) . Hagemann was a member of parliament from May 26, 1975 to October 2, 1987. During his time in the state parliament, he was primarily active in the home and legal committee and in the submission committee.

He was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon in 1981 and the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class in 1985. In recognition of his services, Hagemann also received the Freiherr vom Stein Medal from Schleswig-Holstein. During the minute of silence in the state parliament on the occasion of his death in 2006, state parliament president Martin Kayenburg paid particular tribute to Hagemann's down-to-earth attitude, with which he was “always close to the people”.
