Heinrich Reinhardt (architect)

Heinrich Reinhardt (born September 19, 1868 in Offenbach am Main , † July 19, 1947 in Berlin ) was a German architect .

Life

Reinhardt studied architecture at the technical schools in Offenbach and later at the Technical University (Berlin-) Charlottenburg . In 1893 he delivered a design for the new building of a Märkisches Provincial Museum in Berlin. However, this was not implemented.

In 1894 he founded an architecture office in Berlin with Georg Süßenguth , which was successful in numerous architecture competitions and executed many public buildings, especially town halls. Together with his partner, he was responsible for the new construction of the municipal museum in Altona , which opened in September 1901.
