Georg Süßenguth

Georg Süßenguth (born January 29, 1862 in Göttingen ; † March 30, 1947 in Berlin ) was a German architect .

Live and act

Süßenguth studied architecture at the Technical University of Charlottenburg , where he met Heinrich Reinhardt . With him he opened a joint architecture office in Berlin in 1894, which soon received prestigious commissions. In 1905 you were awarded the Royal Crown Order, IV class. He was also the holder of the Ducal Anhalt Order of Merit for Science and Art .

Süßenguth was buried in the Heerstrasse cemetery in Berlin . The grave was leveled - presumably by accident. At the Charlottenburg Town Hall and Spandau Town Hall, plaques commemorate Süßenguth and Reinhardt.
