Heinrich Schneider (politician, 1790)

Johann Heinrich Schneider (born August 28, 1790 in Michelstadt ; † July 13, 1850 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian civil servant and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Heinrich Schneider was the son of the pastor and philosophy professor Franz Heinrich Schneider and his wife Johanna Katharina, née Bunz. Schneider, who was of Protestant faith, married Katharina Charlotte nee Korndörfer.

Schneider was the tax rectifier for the municipal calculation of the government in Darmstadt. In 1821 he became auditor at the regional finance chamber there and in 1828 rent official in Gießen. In 1849 he was retired.

From 1835 to 1847 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 3 / Heuchelheim .
