Philipp Moritz Hendle (born September 26, 1987 in Neuss ) is a German ice hockey player (striker) who plays for the Moskitos Essen from the Regionalliga NRW in the 2009/10 season .

Career

He took his first steps on the ice in 1996 when he was 9 years old. For three years, until 1999, he played at GSC Moers . Here, in the neighboring town, however, the prospects were not as he imagined and so he then moved to Neuss for one season to the NEV there . But after only a year he left this too and switched to the “big” KEV .

With the Krefeld pupils he also moved into the field of vision of the NRW selection coach for the first time, so that he could now play games in the U14 and U15 national selection. In the summer of 2002 he was promoted to the semi-professional youth league DNL . Here he came to a team that was made up of outstanding players such as Daniel Pietta , Martin Schymainski , Nils Liesegang, Christian Schlesiger or Philip Gogulla , who was drafted by Buffalo this summer .

In the following year there were some departures from top players - for example Schlesiger or André Wagner and others, but - mainly due to the development of the above-mentioned players - these losses could be absorbed very well and one of the absolute top teams was formed the league. He scored 7 goals and 10 help for 17 points in 36 appearances.

In the summer of 2004 the young penguins lost almost all of their top players. The scorers like Pietta, Schymainski, Liesegang, Gogulla, Louven, Lankes, Joosten or Matilainen either left the club or reached the age limit. For example, Phillip and the newly arrived Maris Kruminsch or Steve Mason (the son of the former penguin trainer Doug Mason ) were key players in the team. He was now expected to lead promising newcomers to the DNL such as André Huebscher or Danny Fischbach . And the junior national player (meanwhile he had also played for the U16, U17 and U18 selection of the DEB) faced this challenge. Equipped with an "A" as assistant captain, he took on responsibility and with 17 goals, 19 aids and 36 points from 39 games was the second best scorer and striker of the team behind the aforementioned Maris Kruminsch (39 points, 19 goals), as well as the third best assists. He was also used for two games in Ratingen after the DNL season.

For the 2005/06 season he was appointed to the professional squad of the Krefeld Penguins , but due to the granting license, he mainly plays with the Ratinger Ice Aliens in the major league . During the 2006/07 season he left the Penguins and joined the Grefrather EC in the Regionalliga. There he ended the current season. In the summer of 2007 he signed a contract with the second agency of the Düsseldorfer EG before he returned to Ratingen for the 2008/09 season. For the 2009/10 season Hendle is moving to the regional league team Moskitos Essen .
