Danny Fischbach (born January 24, 1989 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with Moskitos Essen from the major league since 2011 .

Career

The winger , who began his career with Schalker Haien and Ratinger Ice Aliens , switched to Krefeld EV when he was a boy. Here he met André Huebscher and Philip Riefers . This explains why he did not initially appear as the team's great scorer. Nevertheless, he managed 26 goals and 20 aids for 46 points in only 15 appearances and thus almost 2 goals and a good 3 points per game. In doing so, he contributed to the fact that the boys won the German boys' championship in spring 2002.

So he was able to say goodbye to this age group with great success and switched to the student camp. He scored 19 goals in 29 games - the team's fifth-best score behind André Huebscher and four older players. He was also able to contribute 22 templates - fourth-best value within the team, again behind Huebscher and two older players.

After that, he switched to the DNL team and, after having played from the U-13 to the U-15 in the NRW selection, was able to qualify for the U-16 national team. As a result, the sporting management gave the young scorer a chance in the squad of the Krefeld Penguins , for which he completed a total of 23 games in the German Ice Hockey League . His contract, which ran until 2007, was ultimately not renewed. He then switched to the DEG Metro Stars , who only used him in their second team in the Regionalliga NRW . During the 2007/08 season he joined the then league rival Herner EV , with whom he rose to the league after a playoff final win against EHC Dortmund .

On December 29, 2008, Danny Fischbach moved to the Regionalliga NRW for EHC Dortmund. After he won the regional league championship again with the club, he asked for family reasons to terminate his contract in the summer of 2009. A short time later, those responsible for the regional league team Ratinger Ice Aliens announced the Gelsenkirchen player's commitment. After a season with the Ice Aliens, he switched back to Herner EV, for which he went on the ice in the major league. In the summer of 2011 he switched to eating mosquitoes .
