Herbert Adamec

Herbert Adamec (born November 17, 1943 in Vienna ; † January 19, 2009 there ) was an Austrian actor and director .

Life

Adamec attended the Max Reinhardt Seminar from 1967 to 1971 . Graduated from acting diploma in 1970 and directing diploma with distinction in 1971. From 1972 to 1975 he worked at the Vienna Burgtheater . He played in several films, including the " Alpensaga " by Dieter Berner and " Spiel im Morgengrauen " by Oscar-nominated Götz Spielmann . Together with Hilde Berger, he was the founder and head of the A.mo.K. (Working group motor communication) and directed the first self-awareness acting school at the Dramatic Center Vienna , where he regularly directed between 1978 and 1984.

In Germany he was at various theaters (including Theater am Turm in Frankfurt am Main , Zimmertheater in Tübingen , Westfälisches Landestheater in Castrop-Rauxel , Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord in Wilhelmshaven , Stadttheater Münster , Stadttheater in Heilbronn , Gerhart Hauptmann Theater in Zittau ) as an actor, Active as director and senior director. In his hometown of Vienna he worked on Lucifer in Hirlanda with the Sirene Opera Theater .

Adamec committed in January 2009 suicide .
