Heringskoop ( Low German Heernkoop ) is a southern district of the municipality of Nordleda in the combined municipality of Land Hadeln in the Lower Saxony district of Cuxhaven .

geography

Created as a Marschhufendorf , the place borders on Cuxhaven - Lüdingworth in the west and on Wanna - Westerwanna in the south .

The TEWA cycle path ( from Teufelsmoor to the Wadden Sea ) runs along the Heringskooper Strom , which is a tributary of the Wilster . On the willows drift is a station of Hadler Tell path and the southwest, the 252  hectare large nature reserve Aßbütteler Moor .
