Hessendorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the market town of Dunkelsteinerwald , Lower Austria.

The village is two kilometers east of Gansbach at the intersection of the L5040 and L7116 state roads. On January 1st, 2020 there were 34 residents in Hessendorf. In the Franziszeischen cadastre of 1821 Hessendorf is listed with several farmsteads.
