Hohenwarth is a village and a cadastral municipality in the market town of Dunkelsteinerwald , Lower Austria.

The hamlet is located three kilometers east of Schönbühel on the Danube and can be reached via the L5355 state road. The Purzellerhof single vineyard is also located in the village of Hohenwarth . On January 1st, 2020 there were 25 residents in the village. In the Franziszeischen cadastre from 1821 Hohenwarth is listed with two farms.
