Kochholz is a locality and a cadastral community in the market town of Dunkelsteinerwald , Lower Austria.

The Rotte is located six kilometers east of Schönbühel on the Danube and six kilometers south of Gansbach . Kochholz can be reached via the state roads L5359 and L5361. The hamlet of Dürnberg and the scattered settlement Im Liagl are in the village of Kochholz . On January 1st, 2020 there were 89 inhabitants in the village. In the Franziszeischen cadastre from 1821 Kochholz is recorded with three farmsteads.
