Hetzendorf is a locality and a cadastral community of the municipality of Fohnsdorf consisting of the localities of Gabelhofen, Hetzendorf and Waldfeld . It is located in the political district of Murtal and in the judicial district of Judenburg in Upper Styria and is located in Aichfeld .

The earliest written testimony is from around 1050 and is "Hezindorf". The name goes back to the Old High German personal name Hatzo .
