Kumpitz is a village and cadastral community in the municipality of Fohnsdorf . It is located in the political district of Murtal and in the judicial district of Judenburg in Upper Styria and is located in Aichfeld . Kumpitz became more famous as the central setting in Reinhard P. Gruber's novel From the Life of Hödlmoser , published in 1973 .
