Hideaki Yamanobe

Hideaki Yamanobe ( Japanese 山野 辺 英明 , Yamanobe Hideaki ; born August 21, 1964 in Tokyo Prefecture , Japan ) is a Japanese painter and graphic artist .

Life

Hideaki Yamanobe studied painting at the Tokyo University of the Arts from 1985 to 1991 . As a scholarship holder of the Asahi Art Foundation Tokyo, he was able to study in Germany from 1991 to 1993. After a short stay in Munich , he worked in Freiburg im Breisgau for a total of 8 years . In the meantime, he studied printmaking at the Basel School of Design from 1993 to 1994 . In 1999 Hideaki Yamanobe had his first solo exhibition at the Japan Art Gallery in Frankfurt am Main . Hideaki Yamanobe lives and works in Cologne , Düsseldorf and Tokyo.
