Ascension and Pentecost windows in Le Faouët

The Ascension and Pentecost windows in the Ste-Barbe Catholic chapel in Le Faouët , a French commune in the Morbihan department in Brittany , was created in the early 16th century. The leaded glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1906 as Monument historique .

The window was created by an unknown workshop.

The Ascension of Christ is depicted on the left and Pentecost on the right with the sending of the Holy Spirit . In the tracery you can see the coat of arms of the Boutteville family and angels making music.

The window was restored in 1912.

In addition to the Pentecost window, the window of the Transfiguration of the Lord from the Renaissance period has been preserved in the church.
