Passion Window (Bieuzy)
The Passion Window in the Catholic parish church of Notre-Dame in Bieuzy , a district of the French community Pluméliau-Bieuzy in the Morbihan department in the Brittany region , which was founded in 2019 , was created around 1575. The stained glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France as Monument historique in 1912 .
The window in the choir was created by an unknown workshop. It shows various scenes from Jesus' ordeal . The sequence of scenes does not correspond to the logical order, the parts were probably mixed up during a restoration. The upper part of the cross is missing from the crucifixion group .
In addition to the Passion window, two other windows from the Renaissance period have been preserved in the church (see also: Crucifixion and Entombment Windows (Bieuzy) and Life of Jesus (Bieuzy) ).
Last Supper , on the lower edge the inscription: "DO GVILLAVME PIERRES RECTE DE LA PAROVESSE"
Pilate washes his hands in innocence
