Passion window in Moulins (Ille-et-Vilaine)

The Passion Window in the Catholic parish church of St-Martin in Moulins , a French parish in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was created around 1560. The leaded glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1907 as Monument historique .

The two-part window was created by an unknown workshop. It shows the suffering of Jesus : the scourging of Jesus, Jesus falls with the cross and Jesus is nailed to the cross. The window has been reconstructed and missing parts have been added. The last restoration was carried out in 1994 by Atelier Le Bihan in Quimper .

In addition to the Passion window , the root Jesse window in the church from the Renaissance period has been preserved.
