Crucifixion window in Champeaux

The crucifixion window in the former collegiate church of Sainte-Marie-Madeleine in Champeaux , a French commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Brittany region , was created in the first half of the 16th century. The leaded glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1907 as Monument historique .

The central window in the choir comes from an unknown workshop. It was donated by the couple Louise de Goulaine and Guy d'Épinay. The donors are shown praying at the bottom left.

The crucifixion of Jesus is shown in great detail. The mercy seat can be seen in the tracery (top) .
