Window Madonna and Child in Visseiche

The Madonna and Child window in the Catholic parish church of St-Pierre in Visseiche , a French parish in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany , was created in the mid-16th century. The stained glass window was added to the list of architectural monuments in France in 1990 as Monument historique .

The window was probably in the studio of Michel Bayonne in Rennes created, which created many stained glass windows in the region. The window shows the landlord Jacques de Champégné kneeling in front of Maria , who is holding a bunch of grapes in her right hand. The baby Jesus holds a globe with a cross in his hand.

In addition to the Madonna and Child window , the Passion window from the Renaissance period has been preserved in the church.
