Hochreit is a place and in the spelling Hochreith a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Göstling an der Ybbs in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 94 building areas with 34,803 m² and 13 gardens on 18,870 m² in the cadastral community of Hochreith , in 1989/1990 there were 94 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 135 and in 2009/2010 there were 99 buildings on 139 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 266 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 842 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 266 hectares and 1,180 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry.
