Steinbachmauer is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Göstling an der Ybbs in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 62 building areas with 22,749 m² and 16 gardens on 24,127 m² in the cadastral community of Steinbachmauer , in 1989/1990 there were 61 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 198 and in 2009/2010 there were 120 buildings on 210 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 154 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 613 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was practiced on 149 hectares and 642 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 141 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 632 hectares. The average soil climate number of Steinbachmauer is 18.9 (as of 2010).
