Lassing is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Göstling an der Ybbs in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 132 building areas with 47,943 m² and 39 gardens on 24,351 m² in the cadastral community of Lassing , in 1989/1990 there were 126 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 234 and in 2009/2010 there were 164 buildings on 266 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is almost exclusively characterized by forestry. 269 ​​hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 2147 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 238 hectares and 2799 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 229 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 2,447 hectares. The average soil climate number of Lassing is 21.3 (as of 2010).
