The detention basin Eisenbach (also Eisenbachsee ) is a 1.65  ha large reservoir in Baden-Wuerttemberg ( Germany ), about 5 km south-east of Welzheim . Leisure and recreation

There are extensive sunbathing areas around the lake, and the DLRG is on site on summer weekends . The lake is also the starting point for the Eisenbachsee forest animal educational trail. Along the way there are 20 educational trail signs on well-known native forest animals such as badgers , foxes and deer as well as on lesser known forest animals of Central Europe such as. B. wood grouse , lynx , raccoon and raccoon dog . Some nature trail stations are equipped with animal sound installations. An association offers adventure tours for this purpose.
