The hockey club Oranje-Rood is a hockey club from Eindhoven , which was created on July 1, 2016 through the merger of Oranje Zwart and the Eindhovense Mixed Hockey Club (EMHC) . With over 2500 members, the club is the second largest in the Netherlands after SV Kampong . The club complex is located in the Gemeentelijk Sportpark aan de Aalsterweg in the south of Eindhoven directly on the A2 . It includes eight artificial turf pitches. Both the 1st men's team and the 1st women's team play in the Hoofdklasse , the highest Dutch field hockey league, in the 2017/18 season .
