coat of arms

Holtorfsloh coat of arms
Justification of the coat of arms: The coat of arms shows a wind turbine, a goose and a wavy line. In the past, the historic wind turbine was used to pump vital water out of the earth using the force of the wind. The blue background symbolizes the vastness and infinity of the sky. The goose stands for the exchange of food in need after the Second World War. The green area on which it stands symbolizes the cycle of nature. The local stream of Holtorfsloh is represented by the wavy line. The wind turbine is now an industrial monument in Holtorfsloh.
