Honey Honey was released as a single at the group's request and sold well in some European countries. In Germany, Honey, Honey received a gold record for 500,000 copies sold . In Great Britain, however, where ABBA had just landed a number one hit with Waterloo , the label responsible for ABBA records, Epic Records , did not want to release this single, but instead wanted to release Ring Ring (# 32). Because the title was not published by ABBA in England, the group Sweet Dreams tried their luck with it. The cover version came in at number 10.
