More ABBA Gold - More ABBA Hits is a compilation - album of the Swedish music group ABBA and was published in Germany in June 1993rd At the same time, a video cassette with the music videos came out.

Since the greatest hits album ABBA Gold - Greatest Hits was able to establish itself as a big bestseller, also due to the cover versions of Erasure that had recently been published , Polar Records More ABBA Gold subsequently submitted . This CD contains more hits, lesser known songs, B-sides and with I Am the City, a previously unreleased ABBA song.

More ABBA Gold sold well, but the sales figures were rather modest compared to ABBA Gold , but achieved gold status. The album stayed in the album charts for 20 weeks and reached number 9 at the top. The new title I Am the City was created in 1982 for a planned studio album by the group, which, however, was no longer completed.

More ABBA Gold was released in 1999 with a revised sound quality and slightly longer versions of some songs. Another, only visually revised edition appeared in 2008.

Success in Europe

In Sweden it reached 3rd place in the chart, 7th in Austria, 10th in the Netherlands, 13th in Switzerland, 60th in Belgium (Wallonia) and 78th (Flanders).
