Voulez-Vous is a song by the Swedish pop group ABBA , which appeared on the album of the same name in 1979 . It was written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus , Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad sang the main voices together. In July of the same year the piece was released as a single with Angeleyes on the B-side. In the UK, it was released as a double A-side single with Angeleyes .

Voulez-Vous was written during Andersson and Ulvaeus' stay in the Bahamas in January 1979. Because Miami is not far away, they decided to record the instrumental tracks in the Criteria Recording Studios located there. The Bee Gees made their recordings in the same studio . It started on February 1st, with the support of some other musicians from the band Foxy and producers, as well as mixers, including Tom Dowd . Nils Landgren also played the trombone. With working titles like Song X or America , the song was finally completed in March. In the music video, ABBA sings in a club in front of a dancing audience. It was shot on April 5, 1979 at the Europa Film Studio in Stockholm . Voulez-Vous reached number 1 in Belgium and the top ten in Ireland, Switzerland, Spain and the Netherlands . In Germany, the single took 14th place.
