Honsfeld is a village in the municipality of Büllingen in the German-speaking Community of Belgium . With 554 inhabitants (2018), Honsfeld is one of the larger towns in the municipality. The village is about two and a half kilometers southeast of the central town of Büllingen at an altitude of about 600 m .
Between Honsfeld and the neighboring village of Holzheim to the south there is an earth wall, presumably of Roman origin, in which several swords, a gold coin and small horseshoes were found. As a so-called Roman wall , it is a protected cultural monument .
Honsfeld was a stop on the Vennquerbahn from 1912 until passenger traffic was discontinued in 1952 .
