Hergersberg

Hergersberg is a part of the municipality of Büllingen in Belgium belonging to Manderfeld .

The place is in the Eifel directly on the border with Germany and the Losheim district of Hellenthal on the national road N634.

There used to be a small border crossing with a customs office , which today houses a model railway exhibition. Hergersberg is a tourist attraction in the northern Eifel . Right on the border is the Ardennes Center with a Belgian supermarket , café , bistro , furniture store and gas station and the Ardennes Cultur Boulevard with the ArsKRIPPANA crib exhibition , the ArsFIGURA doll exhibition and the ArsTECNICA model railway exhibition . The furniture store was established in 1975 and to this day mainly offers Belgian oak furniture. In the late 1970s, the supermarket and the petrol station were built and were popular destinations for German tourists , especially due to inexpensive products in Belgium such as fuel , tobacco products and coffee .

The Vennquerbahn runs not far from the outskirts and has been connecting Weywertz and Jünkerath as a tourist cycle path since 2015 .
