Hoofdklasse (chess) 1946/47
In the Hoofdklasse 1946/47 the 24th Dutch team championship in chess was played.
The Vereenigd Amsterdamsch Schaakgenootschap built on their pre-war successes and won their tenth championship title.
Preliminary round
The Vereenigd Amsterdamsch Schaakgenootschap (VAS), NRSV Rotterdam , Philidor Leeuwarden and Philips Eindhoven qualified for the final round in the preliminary round. Leeuwarden relegated defending champion Utrecht to second place in the Hoofdklaase Centrum.
Finals
course
VAS and NRSV won the first two competitions, so the decision on the title was made in the last round in a direct comparison. VAS won and became the Dutch team champion. The competition between Leeuwarden and Eindhoven, meaningless for the title race, did not take place.
