Hoofdklasse (chess) 1993/94

In the 1993/94 Hoofdklasse the 71st Dutch team championship in chess was played.

The defending champion Volmac Rotterdam , Hilversums Schaakgenootschap and De Variant Breda fought a three-way battle for the title. In the end, Rotterdam and Breda were tied for teams and board points, the champions were the team from Breda, which had won the direct comparison. The Bussums Schaakgenootschap and Philidor Leeuwarden had moved up from class 1 . While Bussum achieved relegation, Leeuwarden had to relegate together with Utrecht.

The competitions were held on September 18, October 9, November 20, December 11, 1993, January 8, February 5, March 5 and 26 and April 16, 1994.
