The Hun Sen Cup is one since 2007 been registered football - cup competition for Cambodian club teams . It is organized annually by the Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) and is the second most important title in national club football after the championship.
The winner of the shield is determined according to the knockout system . Except for the semi-finals, which are decided in the first and second leg , all rounds are played in one game. If there is a tie after the normal playing time, there will be extra time and possibly a penalty shoot-out . In the semi-finals, the away goals rule also applies.
The record winner is Svay Rieng with four titles. The current title holder is Boeung Ket Angkor , who won the final of the 2019 cup round (13th edition) on November 6, 2020 against Svay Rieng after a 1-1 draw 5-4 on penalties.
