Oman Cup
The Oman Cup (until 2007: Qabus bin Said Cup ) is a soccer cup competition for Omani club teams that has been held since 1972 . It is organized annually by the Oman Football Association (OFM) and is the second most important title in national club football after the football championship in the Oman Professional League . The winner of the Oman Cup is determined according to the knockout system . The winner qualifies to participate in the AFC Cup .
The current title holder in 2018/19 is Sur SC . Al-Suwaiq Club was the only second division team to win the cup in the 2008/09 season. The record winner is Fanja SC with nine titles, followed by Dhofar SCSC with eight successes.
