Protection purpose
According to the Protected Area Ordinance, the main protection purpose is conservation

- a relaxation room with a high level of experience.
Particularly worthy of protection are the gentian kammschmielengesellschaft of the formerly grazed limestone grasslands, the poor meadows with their abundant population of orchids and butterflies, the sprinkled dry grassland and semi-dry grassland vegetation, the hedgerows and bushes of the sloe hedge societies as the common foliage trees as well as the typical plants of the foliage trees Breeding and feeding space for numerous bird species and the rich insect fauna, including numerous species of butterflies and grasshoppers, resulting from the species-rich vegetation mosaic.
