IC 2698 is an irregular galaxy of the Hubble type IBm / P in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 264 million light years from the Milky Way and about 40,000 light years in diameter.
The galaxies IC 2678 , IC 2679 , IC 2683 , IC 2700 are located in the same area of ​​the sky .
