IC 2718 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type S in Leo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 447 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 65,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxies IC 2713 , IC 2719 , IC 2720 , IC 2723 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Max Wolf on March 27, 1906 .
