IC 2703 is a faint dwarf galaxy in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 40 million light years from the Milky Way and about 5,000 light years across.
The galaxies NGC 3602 , NGC 3605 , NGC 3607 , NGC 3608 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by Hermann Kobold on April 23, 1894 .
