IC 4275 is a bar-spiral galaxy with extensive star formation areas of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Water Snake south of the celestial equator . It is estimated to be 187 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 50,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 5153 , IC 4259 , IC 4272 , IC 4273 .
The property was bought on May 4, 1904 by Royal Harwood Frost .
